The Monmouth Christmas Carolers will brighten holiday gatherings with beautifully sung carols. Groups of singers are available to add merriment to festivities at home, office or community settings. Appearances this season include Dearborn Market in Holmdel, Sickles Market in Little Silver, The Grove in Shrewsbury, and Holiday Harmonies in downtown Red Bank. The carolers are members of the Monmouth Civic Chorus, winner of the 2008 Chorus America/ASCAP Alice Parker Award. The Chorus has been acclaimed as “close to perfect” (Asbury Park Press), “sonorously impressive” (The Star-Ledger) and “a vital musical presence on the New Jersey classical music scene” (Classical New Jersey). The next concert is Handel’s Messiah on Sunday, December 21 at 3:00 at the newly renovated Count Basie Theatre, 99 Monmouth Street, Red Bank.
